Justin Erickson

Program Manager, Detroit Neighborhood Entrepreneurs Project



Justin Erickson is the Program Manager for the Detroit Neighborhood Entrepreneurs Project. He is the direct liaison between small businesses and Detroit partners, and U-M faculty and students involved with DNEP.

Prior to joining U-M, Justin worked in economic development and entrepreneurship with The World Bank, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and TechnoServe. With TechnoServe, he worked on an SME development project in Central America. Justin spent his early career as a community organizer in Michigan and Florida, and as an economics and social studies teacher in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

He holds a Master of Arts from The Fletcher School at Tufts University specializing international law and economic development, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan. His interests include biking around Detroit and traveling internationally
