How to Get to Ann Arbor: Maps, directions, and transportation

Where to Stay: Hotel accommodations near campus

All sessions of the Behavioral Finance Symposium will be held at the Ross School of Business, the Law School, or the Ford School of Public Policy. These are all located on U-M’s central campus.

Parking
Like many college towns, parking is at a premium in Ann Arbor. Metered parking is available on every street surrounding the law quad. These are coin meters at the cost of $1.50/hour for a maximum of four hours. Two and three blocks away, there are meters which accept debit and credit cards. Additionally, there is some visitor parking available. See the attached map of Central Campus, which has the law school and the nearby visitor parking highlighted. More information is posted here.

As an alternative to parking, you may want to use the University of Michigan’s free bus system (the U-M blue buses), Ann Arbor’s low-cost bus system (AAATA), or get dropped off using a ride-sharing service.

Buses
To get from North Campus to Hutchins Hall on central campus on the free U-M blue buses: Take the Commuter South route, which picks up at Cooley Lab, north of Bonisteel and west of Bealat. Disembark at the South Quad stop. Hutchins Hall is directly across the street.
