The Center on Finance, Law, and Policy is seeking law, MPP, and MBA students as well as PhD students in economics, sociology, psychology, and business to assist with research during the Summer semester (May-August 2018). Students would work on a broad range of research projects relating to financial regulation, including projects related to the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act; consumer protection; small business lending; behavioral economics; entrepreneurship; market manipulation in high frequency trading; interdisciplinary approaches to financial stability; and FinTech, including cryptocurrency and marketplace lending.
Educational value of this job: Students will gain research and writing experience. Students will learn about the financial system, the legislative and regulatory process, administrative law, and financial regulation.
Job Requirements: Applicants must be current students, have strong research and writing skills, and be able to work independently.
