Jeanna Smialek
Jeanna Smialek writes about the Federal Reserve and the economy for The New York Times. She previously covered economics at Bloomberg News, where she also wrote feature stories for Businessweek magazine.
Ms. Smialek is studying for her master’s in business administration at New York University’s Stern School. She graduated with a bachelor’s in journalism and international relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and grew up in Mars, Penn., a small town on the outskirts of Pittsburgh.
