Fintech Policy Advisor for the Federal Reserve Bank of San Fransico

Kaitlin Asrow covers data portability, data privacy, and artificial intelligence. Prior to joining the Fed, she worked as a research manager for a nonprofit consulting firm, the Financial Health Network, and specialized in financial data use and aggregation in the US. Kaitlin has published multiple papers on data policy, most recently an evaluation of current debates and considerations around data protection and data rights in the United States. Previously, she managed economic growth projects in the Middle East for USAID. Kaitlin received her masters of public policy from the University of Chicago and her BA from Stanford University.
